The Activities Coordinator helps promote unity and a sense of camaraderie within the Rio Grande Region community. The Regional Activities Coordinator also works with Activities subcommittee Chairs of each Area in our Region to ensure that large scheduled events within the Areas do not overlap. As it states in the First Tradition, “Our common welfare should come first,” and that is the purpose of the Regional Activities Coordinator and the Area Activities Subcommittees: helping to ensure the common welfare of the Fellowship as a whole.

The Regional Activities Coordinator puts on Unity Day each year as well as any other Regional events meant to bring our Region together, such as learning days.

The Regional Activities Coordinator may also be able to assist those Areas that do not have an Activities Subcommittee or have new Subcommittees that might benefit from some guidance.
